Zoom calls use the primary camera on your computer to show you and your surroundings. That’s fine if you want to appear as yourself in your normal workspace, such as your office, bedroom, or kitchen.d. It’s a waste of time. Instead, use the Snap camera app to spice up your appearance and surroundings.

Fun filters can be added to your face and background in a variety of ways, from simple additions to ones that completely alter your appearance. One or two can even alter your appearance and background.

You can install Snap Camera on your PC because it is a standalone programme. While on the phone, you can experiment with a variety of filters by using Snap Camera and Zoom at the same time. Your appearance in Zoom will change as a result. This is how you do it.

Set up the Snap camera. –

Install the Zoom Client for Meetings software, if you don’t already have it. The Snap Camera app can be downloaded and installed now. See yourself in the camera viewer by opening the Snap Camera app. Browse through the categories to find the filter you’re looking for, or use the Search field to type in a term.
Select a video

Open Zoom and join or start a meeting once you’ve decided on a filter. Zoom’s camera source can be changed on the video screen. To switch from the app’s default camera, click the arrow next to the Start Video button and select Snap Camera.

Switch to a different set of filters

To see your face with the current Snap filter applied, click Start Video to start your video. Zoom allows you to change the filter at any time during the meeting. Put the Zoom app next to the Snap Camera app for easier access. Changing the look of your face in Zoom is as simple as selecting a different filter in Snap Camera.

Click the filter you just selected to go back to your default appearance and background. Snap Camera will no longer function if you close the Snap Camera app. Take a look at your Zoom video window again and select your main camera as the source.

Snap camera settings

Open the Snap Camera app and select the Settings icon in the upper right corner to make the Snap Camera filters available every time Windows starts. Activate the “Run Snap Camera on System Startup” switch. When you sign in to Windows, the app will automatically start up, ensuring that everything is ready for your next Zoom call.
