Android emulators like Bluestack do not support Snapchat anymore. The app can be installed, but logging in is not permitted.

Many people have figured out how to use Snapchat on a computer, despite the fact that the app is designed for mobile devices only. Snapchat appears to be making it more difficult for users to access their accounts from devices that aren’t compatible with the app.
Snapchat on a Computer Used to Be a Difficult Process.

Snapchat could only be accessed on a PC through the use of an Android emulator. In order to run Android apps on your computer, you’ll need a piece of software called an Android emulator.

The official Snapchat app can be installed on your computer using this emulator. BlueStacks is a well-known and widely used Android emulator.

What You Need to Know to Use Snapchat on Your PC

Due to Snapchat’s apparent ban on the use of emulators, there is no way to successfully run the app on a PC anymore. Even if you follow these instructions, you may run into issues or be unable to access your Snapchat account once you arrive at the login page.

The BlueStacks download page can be accessed through your PC’s preferred web browser.

  • Choose Download BlueStacks to start the installation process.
  • Some Snapchat users claim that their issues started reappearing after the release of more recent versions (BlueStacks 3 and 4). In this case, you may want to download and install BlueStacks 2 instead. If you’re using an older version of the app, it might not matter because Snapchat is actively prohibiting the use of emulators.
  • Open the.exe file by double-clicking it.
  • You’ll see an installation pop-up window appear on your screen. Wait for the download and extraction process to complete before continuing.
  • As soon as the installation is complete, BlueStacks will automatically launch in your browser window. Open Google Play Store by double-clicking the app.
  • Using the Sign In option, enter your email or phone number and password to log into your Google account.
  • Upon logging into your Google account, you’ll be taken to the Google Play Store, which looks just like it does on an Android device.
  • You can either type “snapchat” into the search bar at the top of the page and press Enter, or you can click on the first option that appears in the drop-down menu.
  • Snapchat’s official app is expected to be released soon. To get it up and running, click Install.
  • Open Snapchat after the app has been installed.
  • BlueStacks will open Snapchat in a new tab, just like it would on a mobile device. You’ll be prompted to enter your Snapchat username and password when you click Log In.

You Can’t Login to SnapChat on PC, what now?

Login details entered correctly may still result in a message stating, “Login credentials entered incorrectly.” “The error has been discovered. I’m sorry, but I can’t help you.” It’s not your account or your account information that’s the issue. Snapchat may be preventing you from accessing your account because it has detected that you are attempting to sign in from an emulated device.

If you want to fix this issue, all you can do is get in touch with Snapchat and explain why you think users should be able to use Snapchat via BlueStacks and other emulators.
