Here are the main steps you should take to find out if you’ve been blocked on Snapchat..

See what you’ve been saying lately. You can tell if a user has blocked you by looking at your chat history and seeing if they appear there. Before deleting your Snapchat conversations, make sure you’ve chatted with the user who may have banned your account.

Tap the speech bubble icon below the camera snap button on the bottom of the screen to access the conversations tab in the Snapchat app. Having a recent conversation with someone who has disappeared from your Chat list could be an important clue. To be sure, you’ll need to take the next step.

Additionally, you may not remember clearing your history, or you may not have had a recent conversation with the user in question. If this is the case, proceed to the following step.

Look up the person’s username or last name to find out more about them. When you search for a user on Snapchat, they won’t appear if they’ve blocked you. It’s possible to find them even if they’ve unfriended you by searching for their name.

It is essential to know the difference between being blocked on Snapchat and being deleted. In the event that a user has blocked you, you won’t be able to find their account and can’t get in touch with them through your blocked account.

Even if someone removes you from their Friends list, you’ll still be able to send them snaps even if they remove you from theirs. However, if they only allow their friends to contact them on Snapchat, they may not receive them depending on their privacy settings.

You can use the magnifying glass icon next to the search bar at the top of the screen on the conversations or snaps tabs to look for the user who you believe has blocked you. Enter the user’s username or full name to begin searching for them.

My Friends if you’re still in their Friends list, or if they’ve removed you, they’ll show up in search results under the Add Friends label.

It’s possible that the person you’re looking for has either blocked you or deleted their Snapchat account if their username does not show up when you search for it.

From another account, type in their username or full name and see what comes up. However, if you were unable to locate the user you were looking for in the previous step, this indicates that they may have blocked you. You may be able to find out if their account is still active if you search for them on another social media platform. Choose one of the following:

Take advantage of someone else’s account to search for the user you’re looking for.

Take the time to create a new account and search for this user.

If you don’t want to go through the hassle of signing up for a new account, the first option is the best option for you. Get in touch with a friend or family member who isn’t friends with the Snapchat user you suspect of having blocked you. Ask them to look up the user’s username or full name if you know it.

  • Creating a new Snapchat account will necessitate either signing out of your current account or downloading the app to a new mobile device. Create an account by clicking the Sign Up button.
  • SnapChat will require your full name, birth date, username, password (if applicable), and mobile phone number before granting you access to the service (or email address).
  • Step two is to instruct your friend or to use your new account to complete the process described in step one. The fact that you or your friend were able to locate the user account you were looking for is sufficient evidence that they have blocked you from accessing their account.

It’s possible that your friend deleted their account if none of these steps worked.
